Softball leagues back in diamond play

Teams in the region's two softball leagues will be back in action this week.

In the Northern Carleton Men's Softball League, on Tuesday, Aug. 12 Carleton Mutual will take on the Monquarters.

On Wednesday Aug. 13 The Schooners will play M and A, while Exit Realty will travel to Bristol for a contest against Carleton Mutual.

On Thursday, Aug. 14 The Monquarters will play The Buddies, while M and A will take on Glassville in Bristol.

In the Adult Co-Ed Softball League, games on Aug. 12 will include NBCC against Midwest, as well as Day and Ross against the Woodstock Legion in Hartland.

On Aug. 13, Barrett will take on Woodstock Rec, while on Aug. 14 Valley Equipment will play Canada Customs.

All games start at 6:30 p.m.
