Safety and technique are two components of a great dive. Coach Cliff McLeod of Woodstock will be stressing those points this months as a guest instructor for a two-week diving camp in Woodstock at the Carleton Civic Centre's pool. The sessions will wrap up on Aug. 15.

On Tuesday, young athletes from the region began the first day of a two-week camp in the sport, hosted by the Woodstock Recreation Department at the Carleton Civic Centre's pool.
The event is open for those of the 8 to 12 age group.
Instructor Cliff McLeod of Woodstock will be guiding the youngsters until Friday, Aug. 15.
