A talented family

At the end of the Remembrance Day Ceremony held in the gymnasium at Centreville Community School on Nov. 7, members from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #84 announced the winners of their annual poster contest.

Parents, staff and students were pleasantly surprised when, among the various students named, all three children from one family were announced as winners in the colour category of the poster contest.

Georgia Jones won first place in the Intermediate Colour Category for Grade 8. Shyanne Jones won second place in the Intermediate Colour Category for Grade 7 and Tristan Jones took first place in the Junior Colour Category for Grade 6. Georgia, Shyanne and Tristan are the children of Wanda and Kenneth Jones of Summerfield.
