Storytime, held on Friday mornings at 10:30, is a great chance for little one to socialize with other children.

This week we are doing a Christmas craft to help decorate for the holidays.

Special thanks to all of those who participated in our annual Christmas Craft Day on Saturday.

The annual Christmas Family Night will be held Thursday, Dec. 11, featuring special music, guest story tellers and puppeteers. There will be a reception after the program.

Book Club selection for the month of December is Stone Angel by Margaret Laurence. For copies, inquire at circulation desk. Book Club meets Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m.

Nackawic Public/School Library

A special Christmas Family Storytime, Thursday Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m. features The Master's Hand Puppet group. The story, Santa's New Suit, will be read. Santa will drop by. Storytimes are held Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4 this year is the start of our Christmas fun. We will be reading "Russell's Christmas Magic" by Rob Scotton.

The Browse ‘n Café at 11 a.m. Fridays welcomes everyone for coffee, tea and a muffin and a chance to browse through our newest arrivals, check your email or surf the net.

The Christmas in the Village annual fundraising home tour will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. Tickets now available at $12 each.

Storytime for Preschoolers is every Wednesday morning at 10:30. This week all Storytime children will help the library get ready for Christmas.

The Library Bag Project is looking for donations of yardage and Velcro. It can be dropped off at the front desk.

By donating to the N.B. Public Libraries Foundation you can direct your donation to the Hartland Library to purchase books for children and adults. Donating through the foundation means your donation is matched dollar for dollar up to a total of $100,000 annually. If you wish to purchase a book to be placed in honor of a special individual, please include receipts and a tax receipt will be issued to you by our Library Region.
