Richmond Corner's 2008 Antique Tractor Pull and Old Engine Show will be held at the Haynes Memorial Centre tractor pull grounds located at 830 Route 555.
The event is open to all rig owners and drivers from the region and beyond. There is a $5 gate fee for those 12-and-over.
The gathering kicks off at 7 a.m. with a donation breakfast served until 10 a.m. The meal will include beans, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, toast, tea, coffee, and juice. Registration for the event will also start at 9 a.m., with the antique tractor pull to start at 10 a.m.
A bean and salad supper will follow the finals, set for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $7 per person, while a family of four can enjoy the meal for $20. The supper is free for those under 5.
A new attraction for this year's event will be cross-cut and sweed saw contests. Trophies will be given for first and second place.
An annual favourite for children, the Children's Pedal Pull, will also be held. These contests will be held on the track in-between classes of the antique pulling. Paint balling will also be available throughout the day for those to enjoy.
