Help the Alzheimer Society

Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,
Every October, dedicated volunteers knock on doors across the province to help raise much-needed funds and increase the awareness of Alzheimer Disease and the services the society provides for those affected and their families and caregivers.
This is our largest annual fundraiser and is crucial to keeping our programs going, however, we cannot do it without the support of volunteers and donors.
You can help by becoming a team captain by recruiting and managing a team of canvassers in your area or by becoming a Door-to-Door Canvasser, knocking on 20 doors in your neighborhood. You’ll be surprised by the response.
When one of our canvassers comes to your door, please give generously.
Or donate by calling 1-800-664-8411.
For more information on the October Door-to-Door Campaign or other Alzheimer Society programs and services, please call (506) 459-4280, the 1-800 above or e-mail funddev@ alzheimernb.ca.
On September 18th, across Canada, an ordinary ritual becomes a significant gesture. Find our how you can make your coffee count by calling 459-4280 or 1-800-664-8411. Also, ask us about our new “virtual” Coffee Break.
Thank you,
Kim Rae-Niles,
Woodstock
