Weekly Story Time for preschoolers will resume on Friday morning, Sept.

12, at 10:30 a.m. Story Time is a free weekly program for preschoolers to enjoy games, songs, crafts, and of course, stories.

It is a great opportunity for your little one to socialize with other children (and the parents/caregivers get to socialize too!). For more information about Story Time or to register, please phone the library at 392-5294.

It is that time of year again! All libraries in the province will be switching over to the fall schedule effective the second Monday in September. The library will be closed on Monday, Sept.

1, for the Labour Day holiday, and then beginning the next week will be closed Mondays and open Saturdays.

We will begin opening Saturdays on Sept. 13. Our fall/winter/spring schedule at the Andrew & Laura McCain Library is: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed Sunday and Monday.
