
Kings Landing to support fire departments

Kings Landing Family Restaurant at Kings Landing Historical Settlement will offer special breakfasts each Sunday this summer in support of volunteer fire departments in York County.
The breakfasts began on Sunday, June 29.
Local firefighters will be on hand at each breakfast to talk with guests. A portion of proceeds from each breakfast sold will be donated to a local fire department.
The breakfasts will feature delicious menu items, such as pancakes, eggs, baked beans, home fries and more. There will also be a salad and dessert buffet.
The remaining fire department schedule is as follows:
July 20 – Harvey
July 27 – Keswick Ridge
August 3 – Dumfries
August 10 – Upper Kingsclear
August 17 – Harvey
August 24 – Keswick Ridge
August 31 – Dumfries
Breakfasts take place each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
One dollar from every adult breakfast and $0.50 from each child's breakfast is donated to the participating fire department.
The Kings Landing Family Restaurant is located in the Visitor Reception Centre and may be visited free of charge. Kings Landing Historical Settlement is located 20 minutes west of Fredericton at exit #253 off of Route #2, Trans Canada Highway; or at the junction of Route #102 and Route #635.
