Hi there, my name is Misty.

People may think that because I am a little under a year old, I'm going to be over-excited and yappy.

What they don't realize is that I am simply a rambunctious and extremely energetic dog.

The only possible problem with me really depends on your point of view.

I am not spayed at the moment but can be anytime.

I come from a home out in the Canterbury area.

I was really happy with the people who raised me out there.

My family had no choice but to surrender me to the Carleton County Animal Shelter in Debec because they could no longer afford to feed me.

As you can see by my picture, I am not just one kind of dog.

Because of my weight and size, people tell me that I look like I'm a little bit Greyhound.

Besides that, I'm not sure what other breeds I am.

I am a dog that absolutely adores people and always enjoys a good run.

I'm happiest when I am playing outside with my family, but I also like to take a time-out long enough to sleep.

My three favourite things to do during the day are eat, play and spend time outside.

Right now I am starting to get a little bit lonely despite always being around other shelter dogs like me.

I would really like to find a new family that has a big yard so I can spend more of my days running around and playing outside with children.

All that's needed for me to stay happy is a nice happy family looking for a new dog and having a lot of love.

If someone sees my picture and feels like they can give me the love I'm looking for, please come get me and take me home.
