Mark your calendar for christmas at Saint James united church on monday, dec. 15.

beginning at 7:30 p.m., the choir will present its cantata, a light in the darkness. The performance will be narrated by Kaye shearer, with guest instrumentalists and the handbell choir joining the singers as well.

a dessert reception will follow the performance, and all proceeds from the event will go to the volunteer family services food bank.

Organizers hope everyone will join them for a relaxing evening of christmas music.
