Kevin Spencer & Friends in concert

Gospel music trio Kevin Spencer & Friends are set to take the stage at the Community Wesleyan Church in Monticello.

The southern gospel group, featuring Kevin Spencer, James Dean and Starla Dean, will be in concert this Thursday, May 8, at 7 p.m.

Kevin Spencer & Friends have recorded three number one songs. Their hit songs and fan favourites include The Blood Is Still There; If The Rapture Was Yesterday; Walk On The Water; Let's Meet By The River; Let's Feel That Spirit Again; Saved By Grace; Oh What A Savior; Come Away; Sounds of that City and many more.

The gospel group has been awarded the Singing News Horizon Group of the Year and the Gospel Voice Sunrise Group of the Year, the two highest honours for a new group to receive.

Kevin Spencer & Friends, who perform 260 concerts per year in 30 different states, Canada, the Virgin Islands, Honduras and Grand Cayman Islands, can be seen on several Christian TV stations including GMT (Gospel Music Television) and the Gaither Gospel Series.

Kevin Spencer & Friends will also visit the Village Lighthouse in Benton for a concert on Sunday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m.
