The Village of Bristol's community newsletter is revealing many upcoming activities to keep people active, involved and educated.

Dooly's in Florenceville will host a show featuring Ross Neilsen on Friday, May 9.

On Saturday, May 10, the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic will hold a Rabies Clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All animal lovers are encouraged to attend.

Also on May 10, the Grow Your Own Shiitake Mushroom Workshop will be held at the Falls Brook Centre, located at 125 South Knowlesville Road. The workshop includes an organic home-cooked lunch and handouts. The registration fee is $20, and, for an additional $30, participants can take home their own mushroom log to start a Shiitake garden at home. To register or for more information contact Shannon Herbert at shannon@fallsbrookcentre.ca or phone 375-4310.

Everyone is also reminded to cast their ballots during the Municipal Elections being held on Monday, May 12.
