Flood Waters Flow

The pillars of Hartland's historic covered bridge were hit by flood waters on Thursday, coming within two metres of the bottom of the span. The Saint John River rose more than a foot May 1 because of the impact of heavy rains earlier in the week and the on-going spring run-off.
