Tire fire

Woodstock firefighters respond to a tractor-trailer fire on Sunday night along the Trans Canada Highway, near the Dugan Road exit. The trailer, loaded with tires, was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived, but the driver managed to get the truck unhooked. A malfunction in the trailer's break system was the cause of the blaze. The west-bound lanes were shutdown for nearly five hours as firefighters battled the blaze and cleaned up the debris. (PHOTO BY JIM DUMVILLE)
