Jellystone Park rewarded for excellence

Peter and Janet Clark, owners of the Woodstock Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, have been recognized with the Jim Webb Spirit Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Jim Webb Spirit Award, named after an individual who has played a major role in the success of Jellystone Parks, is presented to the franchisee that has embodied the same spirit, enthusiasm and commitment to the system as Webb displayed throughout his entire career.
"We're honoured to be recognized with an award that represents the spirit of the Jellystone Park system," said Peter Clark. "We take pride in our facility and the Jellystone Park franchise, and we do whatever it takes to ensure our guests are happy and our fellow Jellystone Parks have continued success."
The camp-resort, located in the heart of the beautiful St. John River Valley, provides campers plenty of opportunities to soak in the sun with two waterslides, two family pools and a kiddie pool. Daily scheduled activities, a new Boo-Boo playground, an 18-hole mini golf course and expanded WiFi throughout the campground will keep campers of all ages entertained during their stay.
The Clarks are excited to kick off the 2008 camping season and are confident the great, new activities planned in the months ahead will help make this year's hard winter a memory.
"The Yogi Bear Says Kids R People Too themed weekend, June 20 to 22, will be a hit with the kids as parents are made to pay for ‘crimes against kids,' such as taking out the garbage and doing the dishes," Clark said. "Park visitors also should watch out for the new super camper Ultimate Pass, a $4 pass granting access to all park amenities for an entire day."
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Kozy Acres kicks off the 2008 season on June 1.
