Business Hall of Fame nominations are open

Laureate nominations are now open for the Junior Achievement New Brunswick Business Hall of Fame.

The gala will be held at the Aitken University Centre in Fredericton in October.

The event recognizes iconic business leaders in the province, while raising funds for Junior Achievement programs.

To date, the event has raised over $1.1 million for Junior Achievement of New Brunswick.

The laureates will be chosen based on a number of factors, including leadership, individual achievements, mentorship of young people and their overall contribution to their respective organizations and communities. Nominees may either live in New Brunswick or have been born in New Brunswick but now live outside the province.

Anyone wishing to nominate a New Brunswick business person or entrepreneur should contact Junior Achievement of New Brunswick or visit their Web site at www.janewbrunswick.org for the necessary forms.

Nominations close Friday, May 30.
