2009 Property Assessment Outlook
I'm speculating that the current real estate market is presenting some challenges to New Brunswick's assessors as they conduct their annual exercise of determining property assessments for 2009. Cities, towns and villages across the province need an estimate of their 2009 assessment base so they can strike a tax rate to match whatever budgets they are currently adopting for next year.
